Philippe de Gaspé Beaubien is Chief Executive Officer of Telemedia Ventures Inc. Prior to this appointment, Philippe was President of Gasbeau Company, where one of his main responsibilities was the development and implementation of the company’s investment activities as well as the operating management of its ventures. Philippe is a graduate of Harvard Business School (MBA) and of the investment analyst training program at the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
Eric Demirian is currently the President of Parklea Capital, a position he has held since 2003. He has significant transaction experience involving mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and public and private financings with experience in a wide range of industries including technology, communications and entertainment, clean-tech, manufacturing, distribution, financial, consumer goods and real estate. Eric has extensive public company board of directors, audit committee and special committee experience and is currently the chairman of the board of Descartes Systems Group and a director of Imax Corporation and Enghouse Systems Limited. Eric is a former director of Leisure Canada Inc. (2010–2011), Menu Foods Income Fund (2005-2010) and Keystone North America Inc. (2007–2010). He is a CPA, CA and CGA.
Nizar Jaffer Somji
Nizar Jaffer Somji is a serial entrepreneur, corporate executive and board director with a proven track record of growing businesses. He is the founder and former president and chief executive officer (CEO) of Matrikon Inc., a recognized leader in industrial intelligence for the oil and gas industry. Matrikon was acquired by Honeywell in June 2010 for $144 million. Nizar founded and currently serves as president and CEO of Jaffer Inc., a real estate, investment and hospitality company with assets in Canada and the USA. Nizar is also chairman of the board of Zafin Inc., an award-winning supplier of relationship banking software solutions to the financial services industry. Most recently, Nizar was appointed to the Board of Governors at the University of Alberta. Nizar holds a Master of Science in chemical engineering from the University of Alberta and a Bachelor of Science in electrical engineering from the University of Birmingham in the United Kingdom.
Robert Williams brings more than 20 years of experience in computing, networking and security to his role as President, Middle East and Africa. Robert is responsible for all operations in the Middle East, a key market for Redline. Prior to joining Redline in 2010, Robert served as Vice President at Bluecat Networks, CEO of Bioscrypt, and Vice President of Engineering for Psion Teklogix Inc. Robert holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Waterloo.
John Wilson is President and Chief Executive Officer of Quantapoint Inc, a technology-driven solutions provider to the oil and gas industry. He has spent the past 32 years working at the intersection of technology and the oil and gas industry, having held executive positions in the oilfield service sector, including with companies such as Stratos Global Corporation, where he was Senior Vice President and General Manager of broadband services; Trade Ranger Inc. as its CEO; Vertias DGC as President of the exploration services division; and Haliburton Company as Executive Vice President. Mr. Wilson was born in the United Kingdom and holds a Bachelor degree in Electronic Engineering and Physics from Loughborough University of Technology, and a Master of Business Administration from the Polytechnic of Central London.
