Redline’s broadband wireless products chosen by Public Authority of Industry (PAI) in Kuwait

PAI enhances operations and communications among hundreds of users throughout its organizations with Redline’s RedCONNEX™ products

TORONTO, ON June 30, 2009 -- Redline Communications Group Inc. (“Redline”) (TSX and AIM: RDL), a leading provider of WiMAX and broadband wireless infrastructure (BWI) products, today announced that the Public Authority of Industry (PAI) in Kuwait has selected Redline’s 5.8 GHz RedCONNEX™ AN-80i products to connect offices via its high-bandwidth Wide Area Network (WAN). The RedCONNEX products will enable PAI to reduce costs, and increase employee productivity, customer service and communications between its head and branch offices in Kuwait.

PAI is a public sector organization providing resources and services to Kuwaiti industries to ensure adherence to international standards and improve their ability to compete globally. PAI deployed Redline’s RedCONNEX AN-80i broadband wireless infrastructure products in a WAN network framework. The AN-80i units enable wireless communications links of up to 24 kilometers, connecting branch offices in Sabhan and Fahaheel to the PAI head office in Surra, Kuwait and supporting the secure delivery of voice, video and data communications.

Kuwaiti Canadian Integrated Trading Company, a Redline Certified partner and Kuwaiti based communications integrator, was responsible for deploying the WAN network. Prior to this, PAI relied on a Digital Subscriber Line (DSL) connection which was very slow and could no longer accommodate the requirements of its growing customer and employee base. It also wanted to reduce its dependency on DSL which was expensive and required on-going IT support.

PAI plans to integrate its modern IP surveillance system across all buildings into the WAN network this year which is now possible due to the increased bandwidth provided by the RedCONNEX system.
